Album title: World of Dr. Light
"World of Dr. Light" isn't the kind of album title I'd normally give a rip, especially because I've never played a Mega Man game in my life, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate only once in my life at Magfest 2019. I've never owned a video game console in my life, but I've played a small handful of console games on emulators like Super Mario 64 and Kirby Super Star. The album title was stolen from a comment on this rip. If I had to give this rip an album title on my own, I probably would've named it something ridiculous like "mega man gets an invitation to super smash bros disguised as a weapon even though i'm pretty sure he was there long before ultimate".
I remember a team member praising this rip shortly after it came out and describing it as "simple but effective", and I agree completely. It's just a simple, solid melodyswap to the menu theme from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I like how I changed the chord progression in the rip's first section, but did not change it in the second section.
And that's my last rip of 2018! Next up we have my first rip on TimmyTurnersGrandDad.
