Yes! It is my project for after Odd One Out!

We're lining up for some serrrrrious angst on the way, and stuff I want to drop hints at but don't want to spoil.

How would you like to see POC vampires written?

The Al Ghuls are an ancient vampire line, and will be major characters in the fic, as it goes on.

And there will be POV from Dick, or from other batkids maybe, where they're going to interact with these characters, and be studying them, trying to reconcile their anti-vampire beliefs with their family.

I looked online, but there is a lot of conflicting testimony (e.g. the word dusky which I thought would be cool, then the very next thing was apparently that has a history to be avoided, and that was kind of the vibe for a lot of what I saw).

(There was a WritingWithColour post but that was more warning to be aware of the coded racism of making POC characters 'evil' or vampiric, not description wise.)

Cause Damian is also currently dessicating, so he's gonna look like an utter mess, and I don't want to head for all the....is white-coded the right thing to say? Those kind of words that would white-wash him and the other characters.

Off the top of my head, like, washed-out is one, but it's...the only one, if I'm honest with you.
