Revolution, the process.
When people talk about revolution, they make it seem like it’s one big event, when it could be further from the truth. Revolution is a process, we didn’t get workers rights because the workers all rose up, we got those rights from people slowly convincing each other that their conditions were unfair and they they deserved more for their labor. One person can’t be a revolution either, it will take all of us to rise against and dismantle oppressive systems such as capitalism and Oligarchical Republics such as the United States, no amount of reform will get rich people to stop controlling everything around us. Reform does count for some things, don’t get me wrong, but true liberation is achieved through both reform and action. How you define liberation is up to you, but for me it’s about living the way that is most desirable without having to worry about flow of income or when another meal will be, call me an idealist which I totally am, but that should be our goal as a collective species. Preservation of human rights and the protection of natural environments is the goal for some groups, but we need more.
