A year has gone by since the encounter that changed Beacon hills forever. Things are finally peaceful, and Beacon Hills is living through an open secret with no harm. Liam, a recent graduate, has slowly taken the role of interim Alpha while Scott is away at college.

Yet things are slowly descending into chaos, as the dying begin to rattle cryptic messages with their final breaths, and mindless debauchery and excess begin to plague Beacon High. Yet that’s only the tip of the iceberg, as a competitive urge, driven by focus and the ability to ignore morality, and pain, described by those afflicted as a sense of pure blood lust, influences those closest to the law. Neighbor against neighbor, cop against cop, and wolf against chimera, Beacon Hills is slowly falling into destruction. Liam, Mason, Corey, Nolan, and Theo will try to find the source of the problems plaguing their town, while battling through the effects unknown to them.
