Never Worry About Missing an Overworld Encounter in LGPE Again With This Simple Internet Trick!

Minor spoilers I guess for a later encounter in my badge quest lol

So to anyone who has played Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee this might seem a little strange. Normally overworld encounters do not stick around after you shut off the game. I believe I have just discovered a reliable method to keep overworld encounters even after you exit the game. This video is possible because instead of saving the normal way, I traded with my brother's switch to save my game. So far this has worked on every overworld encounter I could think of. Normal, XL or XS, rare and shiny spawns all remain on the map even when I reload the game multiple times. Follow the steps below for the best results. Step 1: Find your desired encounter in the overworld Step 2: Connect to your pokeball plus or trade with another switch. DO NOT save normally at any point after establishing connection as it will negate the effect. You do not need to return your pokemon to the game right away but you can if you want this works whichever way you choose. Step 3: Should you fail your desired encounter, simply exit the game and reload your save file as many times as you need to, every spawn that was present before connecting should be there.

What does NOT or may NOT work: I unfortunately couldn't get this to work by linking to my pokemon go account. Could still be possible but I attempted several times with no results. The trade method might only work if you trade locally, I haven't been able to test online trading so there's potential that connecting to the internet could negate the effect. I have confirmed this works in caves, buildings, open areas and for surf encounters. I have not checked sky encounters as I haven't beaten the elite four yet. I'll update this post soon when I can confirm or someone else confirms sky encounters. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT save normally at any point between connecting to the pokeball plus and catching the encounter or the method will fail and the spawns will disappear upon reloading the save.

ayano has 120 wooper/quagsire she caught in crystal that she transferred up through bank to trade, they're all named BLUEBERRY and she has a sword OT of "Ayano (BMF)". she's probably going to be doing trading first before me. i'm currently still catching a bunch of eevees in let's go eevee which i'm going to mass evolve into jolteons, probably about 90 of them if i can get that far before stream starts, i think i'm naming them LikoDot but idk yet, and my sword OT is Kiki because i made it after they finally unbanned my name LMAO
