Hello, all! As an avid Sims Mobile (don't judge me) player, I was ecstatic when I entered the app and found an LGBTQIA+ patch in celebration of pride month. For context, I have a pan and an ace sim, (I used to have a bi sim but she died and I was sad). I gave them all pride shirts and placed flags of the walls, all with a smile on my face. I went through every single flag variation aND THEY DIDN'T HAVE DEMI BUT IT'S FINE. The list of flags are:
A real diverse list. Before I start, know that I am so incredibly proud that Sims has added this patch. Gender-neutral bathroom doors, rainbow clothing and flags like previously mentioned are so important and helping LGBTQIA+ sims players feel included. You may have been thinking, 'where is the lesbian flag?' And so is the rest of the internet! IT'S THE FIRST LETTER IN LGBT+. It could be argued that the gay flag is meant to represent lesbian players and/or sims but there is a separate lesbian flag that could have been made!
All in all, I completely love and support the Sims adding this patch but a lesbian flag would have been even better. AGAIN, FIRST LETTER.
But I'd love to hear your opinions! What are your opinions on the patch? Should the lesbian flag be added before June end? What other flags and accessories would you have liked to see?
