You have the glibness, superficial charm, grandiosity, lack of guilt, shallow feelings, impulsiveness, and lack of realistic long-term plans that excite me right now, she says, moving even closer.

Let's Play Doctor – Billy Goldberg & Mark Leyner
This is, I guess, the last and latest book of this awesome dream team. It's the third after 'Why Do Men Have Nipples' & 'Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex'
Do you ever wanted to be a Doctor? Do you ever wanted to say like real crazy stuff that freaks out your friends and that makes girls think you are a genius – or a M.D?! Well then, this book might be or might be something for you. Because in this book you can learn how to become a Doctor.
Here, you trough live about 5 or 6 Semesters. In every Semester you learn something new you need to know, in case you want to be a Doctor.
Unfortunately In must admit that this book isn't as good as the others. Yes, well, it is funny, indeed. But it's not as funny as the others. The good thing, as well as the former books, it might be real crazy and funny, but you actually can learn a lot. I didn't expected this, but while you're reading, or after finishing, you just stand next to your friends and say things like 'Do you know that … , and that?' - You know what I mean.
But really, for all the Goldberg / Leyner fans – Their books are just really worth reading.
And as she steps out onto the patio, her Valkyrian bosom undulating with each step like a viscous liquid, a pterodactyl swoops down from the sky, snatches her in its beak, flies her to its nest, and drops her into the shrieking rictus of its offspring.
From My Cousin, My Gastroenterologist, by Mark Leyner. Which explains why I am SO excited about this.
EDIT: Well, I say it explains it. Perhaps it doesn't. Let's say instead that Leyner's prose veers from the perceptive and biting to the bizarre, and that ingesting his previous books has been like injecting madness directly into the eyeballs. So I consider this something of an event. In which, thank God, I'm not alone.
