looking like a zombie?

i’ve been a bit all over the place this year artistically, partially due to motivation problems and partially due to managing chronic illness. all that aside, i’m super proud of myself for making the artistic strides i did this year despite that (i was in a zine! i made another calendar!) and dutifully continuing the still studies (and learning to pace myself on those too…). i even have a tiktok now where i post speedpaints! i think the burst of inspiration i got at the end of the year reminded me to chase my muse, and pursue whatever i’m most passionate about at any given moment as that’s where the artistic growth and magic always lies. art is like medicine for me, it shouldn’t feel like a job or a chore❣️ thank you all for supporting me, new and old followers, i appreciate your presence in my life greatly! 🫶🏻

this year’s been… turbulent, to say the least, for me personally. but this blog, and art in general, have been a constant through it. i took some risks with big projects (crowdsourced closet and eddie month being notable ones) and your enthusiasm for them fueled me to keep doing that (@spnstillstudies is my newest venture)! i made new friends and new followers, used new brushes and tools, and grew. i may be ending this year a lot differently than i started it, but my creativity is blossoming more than ever and i’m very grateful you all are along for the ride<3 see you next year! if you’re curious about past years, you can check them out here!

another rotation around the sun! this year’s special—this is the fifth summary of art i’ve done, and my first time with my art blog having 1k followers 🥺 (thank you, again!). artistically this year has been A Ride, from hopping from interest to interest in the first half to my mind being completely all consumed (you’ll never guess by what) in the second. i’ve grown so much even from last year, it’s almost scary to wonder what the coming year’s growth may look like. but i’m excited and inspired to make more art, and can’t wait to keep sharing my creations with you all! see you next year ✌🏻💜 if you’re curious about past years, you can check them out here!
