What Levi had just said hit him like a ton of bricks, it hurt like someone had smashed through his chest, grabbed his heart and crushed it between their fingers. Of course he knew it was nothing but a stupid fling, it was a change of pace to erase the loneliness that sometimes crept in for a while, after their first heated encounter Reiner was hooked like an idiot. Maybe he had taken it too seriously but still, it hurt when Levi said it."I..Sorry, sir." he sighs in defeat and regains his composure, standing tall he just shrugs and walks off, unable to form a decent reply without sounding like a needy idiot.
