Practicing my digital art with a fanart for @kaspavanlortsyal ‘s “Let It Be Enough” Recom Miles fic on ao3! *cough* read it *cough*

This morning’s practice was focused on embodying the feeling of Santosha (“contentment” or “satisfaction”). Naturally, the shapes I️ found myself drawn to were a bit more relaxed than a typical vinyasa or power flow. Some days we can really benefit from a slow, relaxed practice ❤️ #LETitBEenough

Yesterday I wanted to do a walk and draw while being inspired by nature. This project seems simple and quite natural, but for me it is not. I realized that I would postpone the moment to leave, found me all kinds of excuses, at a point when I asked myself: what is the trouble? And I realized that was what Steven Pressfield called resistance. He speaks of it as a force opposed to all that is important to us. And thus, paradoxically, becomes a reliable compass: where there is resistance, it is precisely what I MUST do! So I slipped my sketchbook, my pens and some colored pencils into a bag and took advantage of this sunny afternoon. It was not comfortable, my critical mind did not let go so easily, but I came back home with several pages of drawings and some pictures.
