So the physio told me no more HiiT, no more high impact exercise, I am allowed to keep #lesmillsbodybalance and #lesmillsbodypump with light weight THANK GOODNESS!!! I think I might cry if I couldn’t have kept those. But she told me that the best and most ideal form of exercise for me was indoor cycling as it’s non weight bearing (other than uphill climbs and in those cases it’s still non impact) and it’s more recommended (in my case - because of the nature of my spinal damage) than just going out on my bike because of the bump impact of outdoor cycling. So I came across this beauty on Facebook marketplace for a TINY fraction of the retail price and had to jump on it. Honestly can’t believe it was so cheap. It’s in beautiful condition too! The bike is smooth smooth smooth and very very quiet. Last night I attempted my very first spin session with #lesmillsthetrip doing no.13 that was hard work but totally fascinating. By the time I was only 1/3 of the way through I totally felt like I was really riding the track on the screen before me and the sharp leaning turns and loops actually had real sensation to them.
