I really love the idea of Kara Danvers and Lena Luthor, I really do.

I’ve forced myself to watch all 4 seasons because of the following and the amazing art and fiction that comes out of the fandom. I’ve spent hours of watching, praying that this show would get better.

While there are great things about Supergirl such as the representation of LGBTQ community, real life political issues and family dynamics, it’s hard to watch with the low budget special effects and poor acting from the majority of the cast.

I really think that the writers are so against the notion that many want Kara and Lena to be together, that they purposely made them enemies instead. A slap in the face and a fuck you a HUGE portion of their audience.

Maybe I’m being salty about the season 5 trailer, maybe Kara and Lena will be friends again or maybe more? Maybe I’m still sore about the 100 with Lexa’s death too. But what the fuck?! Can’t we get a fucking break? 

All I want is a great, well written show with a gay protagonist (the leading role) in a healthy relationship. Is that too much to fucking ask for?

Even though I’m pissed... I’m still going to keep watching, because there are good moments even if those are far few in between. Alex, Nia and John are hands down the best characters in the show. And I’m not going to hold my breath for Kara and Lena anymore... (I feel like I’m being baited)
