Hi, I’m 26 and a stud

I’m multiracial, but black first above all, and I want to be clear about who I am, because I’ve spent a long time feeling like I had to shrink or simplify myself to fit into boxes that were never made for people like me.

Being multiracial…especially as a Black Latina, comes with a lot of questioning, erasure, and pressure to “pick one.” And ive felt that pressure in social spaces, at work, and even within communities I’m apart of. There’s a constant feeling of being too much or not enough at the same time.

This page is a space where I’m not here to perform identity in a way that makes others comfortable. I’m here to exist as I am.
