Dog breed study WIP!!

If you've never seen a Leonberger they're a german breed and they are BIG. fluffy and bred to look like lions and very loyal and loving and very very smart. i've never had one myself (my family has always been a Labrador family) but I have a family member who's a veterinarian and have never heard a bad word from them about Leonbergers. they weigh more than I do and they're gorgeous dogs and just like me they can develop bad hips lmfao

this all came up because in a reply to a comment on ao3 I described rocky as the Yorkie to adrian's Leonberger. idk if I do actually think rocky as a dog would be a Yorkie but I picked Yorkie because I actually think they're cute and I have family friends two that love me. most tiny/small dogs (chihuahuas, those ratty white "hypoallergenic" dogs) I dont actually like. I see enough people at my family member's vet office who don't train them and who bring them into places that pets dont belong.

anyways yes. Adrian is a Leonberger. just imagine them as shades of blue and teal rather than gold and brown. Although the gold and brown mixed with the blue and teal would be stunning!
