For YEARS we have all basically had a consensus that both of these characters are as gay as it is physically possible to be.

But because Leo didn't have a "viable" in universe ship option for the cowards antis in our fandom, and especially because the movie gave us a *perfect* fit in Casey Jones but again cowards antis couldn't fathom enough suspension of disbelief for a time travel romance ig?

They NEEDED and "acceptable" outlet for all this Leo energy they had building up and the Rabbit is a cardboard cutout so what do they do?

They make them both straight, to stick them in the most boring chemistry-less ship imaginable. You played yourselves so hard with your fictional thought crime nonsense that you straight washed yourselves and it is so fucking funny.

Both are bisexual, but it both took them a while to realize they also like boys as much as girls. Leo was very closest about his bisexuality, his awakening was Captain Ryan. Casey just kinda always instinctively knew he was bi, but just never outright talked about it cause it was not a big deal in his mind. He just thought “That girl is hot. That guy is also hot. Nice.”

They started mutually crushing on one another during their time on the farmhouse, they tried dating during second half of season 3, but Leo was too stressed on everything going to continue dating so they agreed to put their relationship on hold until Shredder is defeated. It wasn’t until after season 5 they started officially dating and became a couple.

Raph is pretty much the reason they got together. He’s the one who encouraged Casey to ask out his brother when Casey was having doubts if Leo likes him back. Raph couldn’t stand to watch another Donnie and April “will they won’t they” situation. He advised Casey to just go for it while also threatening to harm him if he even breaks his brother’s heart.

Casey’s nickname for Leo is “Baby Blue” while Leo calls him his “Hockey Knight”

They would probably get matching tattoos. Henna tattoos specifically.

Casey can play the guitar and has written and sung (very poorly) love songs dedicated to Leo.

Leo has written Casey love poems and haikus, though Casey struggles to understand them cause Leo’s vocabulary is more extensive. Regardless he loves them.
