Summary - Charity is in exhausted new mum mode and Leo insists she rests...

It was rare, and it was cherished most. Those moments of silence Leo and his wife Charity had when their twin daughters Shayla and Freya where fast asleep, when they weren’t crying for feeds or a nappy change. It was rare but it was the best part for the exhausted, new parents.

“I need to sleep” The mother complained as she sipped on her cup of tea, alcohol just seemed to make her even more tired.

“Then sleep, Freya and Shayla are asleep” The former heir to Cordonia assured his wife and she looked back to him, her husband was wonderful but right now, she wanted to stay alert to ensure the girls didn’t need her.

“They could wake up any point” Charity stressed, she needed sleep but she knew how fussy their tins were.

“I know but I am their dad, I know what I’m doing” Leo responded, as he massaged his wives shoulders. “Just chill, try relax, or if you don’t want to sleep, go get a nice chilled out bath, we have milk for them” Her husband whispered softly, he knew Charity was bound to stress but she didn’t need to, as he had her back and he was as much the girls parent as she was. He was her partner and he would do anything she needed him to do and if that included sitting with the twins, or doing all the duties whilst she rested, he was certain he could find a method to handle it.

“Are you sure?” She asked, worried and her husband pressed a kiss to her forehead.

'i know we all hate ROE and don't talk about it but im just curious, Leo seemed to have a weird obsession with fire and I just wondered if there was ever a reason for that? like he told MC he had always been drawn to it and ignored MC whilst playing with fire, it’s a weird thing for PB to randomly throw in there for no reason

Let me start this by saying fluff and I are not friends, we’re mere acquaintances that simply tolerate one another on occasion. We’re working on our ‘relationship’ today because I belong to a support group for writers who have wronged Liam and part of the recovery process is ‘making things right’ with the characters we’ve wronged. I know what you’re thinking. Darley has lost her mind. I promise you that I have not. At least not yet. I digress. I hit a block in my next chapter for Broken Fairytales, so I am taking a breather to write some fluffy in between moments for Drake, Liam, Maxwell, Leo, and possibly others.
