What’s a better way to capture the fragility of birds than by projecting an actual bird?
Using a projector I was able to cast the image on to the wall. I found the serenity and peace of the death of the poor bird to be such a powerful image. From there I stuck a newsprint paper to the wall and sketched the bird. I moved the projector to create a smaller image and sketched that also.
Since the physical body of birds can be quite small I will definitely be using the projector for various pieces for my Biophilia project.
