#lemme explain #I mean I find the show as pretty solidly taking place in around the time it debuted #both in tone and general aesthetics #even with allowing the characters to age I still kind of place them in a early 2000s timeframe #also kind of lines up with the active effort to not show too many modern conveniences such as cellular phones and computers etc #like I think that not having a cell phone or if you did have a computer it being one of those gargantuan old ones secluded in its own room #makes a lot of sense from a different time period #not to say that ppl can't have the characters take place nowadays btw it all is fine and dandy I love it #just more random stuff I entertain myself with #and decide to post as a distraction from actually finishing my fic #eene #headcanons #squack
