As a reminder, the prompts are merely guidelines meant to inspire ideas, not strict requirements. You can interpret them as you wish, combine, or ignore them - as long as your submission is centered around sapphic ships, it's a perfect fit for the event!

Don't forget to use the tag #DASapphicWeek2025 or @ us in the post with your submission to get your work featured on the blog. Any event fics posted on AO3 can also be added to our collection.

Less than one week is left until the event begins, and our team is excited to see what everyone has prepared.

If you are planning to post any WIPs of your submissions, feel free to add them to this post with a reblog, or tag us in your own post - we would love to see what you are working on and share your creations!

How does the event work?

After the interest check/prompts submission form closes, we will post a list of prompts for each day of the week, which you can use as inspiration for your fan works.

In addition to the main list of prompts, we will also provide 3 extra prompts that you can use on any day, either instead, or in combination with other prompts.

How closely must we follow the prompts?

However closely you like. Prompts are guidelines, not requirements. You are free to combine prompts from several days into one, or forego them entirely - the choice is up to you!

Also note that we will accept submissions for all prompts for any day of the week. You can use prompts from Day 1 to post on Day 3, or any other day during the event.

What fanworks are accepted for the event?

You can submit any fanworks, including fan fic, fan art, gifs, edits, digital photography etc. The only restriction is that the fanwork must be human-created. We will not accept AI-generated fanworks as submissions for the event.

Can I use my old fanworks?

No. All works featured in the event must be original new works. However, we will be reblogging sapphic content in the weeks leading up to the event - feel free to tag it with #dasapphics to catch our eye and have your submission reblogged here!

What ships can be included in the fanworks?

Your works can feature any sapphic ships between Dragon Age characters, including OC x OC, OC x canon, and canon x canon ships.

The sapphic umbrella includes trans and non-binary people. Bigotry during the event will not be tolerated.

Can the fanwork feature non-sapphic ships?

Non-sapphic ships can be featured in fanworks only as long as sapphic ships remain their main focus of the fanwork, and any other ships appear only as background relationships.

How do I get my work featured on the blog during the event?

Make sure to @ our blog while posting, or use the tag #DASapphicWeek2025, so we can find your work. Please note that it can take the mods up to 24 hours to reblog your submission.

In case your submission isn't reblogged in that time, please send us an ask or a DM with a link to it!

Do you accept late submissions?

We will continue to reblog event-related art works even after the event is over, as long as they @ our blog, or use the event's tag.
