It certainly had taken a lot of searching, but at last Alisha had found the strawberry patch that was said to be in Blooming Fields. At least she'd been able to pick some flowers along the way, she told herself as she drew nearer to the patch. The strawberries looked like they were just perfectly ripe, too. Perfect for snacking on and baking. Speaking for herself, Alisha mostly was looking to try some as a snack. All that was left was picking them.

As she knelt down to start doing just that, she took a moment to just smile to herself. Her time in Spring Rise had only just begun, and yet it felt as though it was a sort of home away from home. Maybe it was just because there were a lot of festival goers there as well, but whatever the case? Alisha was happy to be there.

She started to pick a couple of strawberries, then stopped when she noticed someone from her peripheral vision. The princess knight looked up, then tilted her head to the side. She shouldn't have been surprised others would want to pick strawberries. Still, she found that she was at least a little.

"I guess this is a popular spot for strawberry picking."

“Raynard, Shirley, and Norma wouldn’t have a reason to give you hell if you didn’t try to hide when you’re hurt.”

With the chimera finished by the sickening crack of its neck, Chloe felt comfortable to sheath her sword and properly check on Senel. Their bond had strengthened a fair bit since they had met one another. They could rely on one another and fight at each other’s side with ease, their respective fighting styles complimenting the other nicely. That didn’t mean she wasn’t worried for him. He’d taken a hit to the hands from the chimera’s fire.

She moved to Senel’s side, but hesitated to actually offer assistance for a moment. He’d said that he would take care of it. Trying to argue against that might not have been the wisest move, and she knew that. Even so, Chloe did care about Senel and didn’t want him to be on the receiving end of another one of Will’s bonks to the head or Shirley’s scolding.

“Here.” Chloe retrieved an apple gel from the sack of items she carried with her, offering it to him a moment later. “This should take some of the edge off, at least.” She had a panacea bottle on hand, too, if the burns he’d endured proved to be worse than that. Still, the gel seemed like a good enough place to start.

Speaking for herself? Chloe knew she’d retained an injury or two. Making sure Senel was okay still took priority in her mind, though.

Oh, how she could understand that feeling. There was much she had forgotten, by choice and by trauma. But then, she'd been alive for centuries. She had seen more than she wanted to.

But Alisha? She was still so young, and she had already seen and known too much. That poor girl. Lailah had been through much, but she'd never had a mentor ripped from her. She supposed the closest was Maotelus, but it wasn't the same.

"Then we won't talk about it," she said. Because it was easier that way. Because she understood Alisha's position. But she wasn't sure what to do to help her. A distraction, perhaps? Did she want to talk about it? Lailah couldn't tell, to be honest.

“Look at this! It’s so cute!”

There was some kind of hair accessory put on the glass display, something soft colored and immediately, Colette nearly pressed her face against the barrier.

“Presea, this would look nice on you...”

A glimpse between her friend and the decorative hair band, like she was mentally comparing and contrasting between her already adorable taste in ribbons.
