As you may know, Leenalchi's bandleader Jang Young-Gyu has a whole other career as a prestigious film composer. He’s scored many of the most important and widely respected Korean films of the last decade. 

There are going to be some very special screenings of films he's worked on as part of Leenalchi's tour, some of which will be accompanied by Q & As with Mr. Jang.

A lot of you have been asking on social media why Leenalchi’s music isn’t available on some streaming platforms in Europe and North America.

Well, there’s a simple answer: 

Leenalchi has recently signed to a record label called Luaka Bop (hi guys!), which was founded by David Byrne. 

There’s going to be a short window when some of Leenalchi’s music won’t be available outside of Asia and Australia. But don’t worry. It will be back up soon.

In the meantime, we are super excited to announce Leenalchi touring Europe and North America in 2026. If you want them to come visit your hometown, send them a note with a request here — and we will try to make it happen.
