A blue and red palm outstretches, stopping the intruder. "You aren't authorized to enter this area, sorry, pal."

"Aww, what? Come on, I just want a peek at the set!" The Pippins sounded indignant, "I won't be long!"

"Ya aren't in this board, what could you possibly need? Are you just bored?"

A long silence sits between them. The Pippins pouts.

The Zapper sighs. "...You are bored. No entry to unauthorized staff. Tenna's orders." The guard moves to shoo the dice away.

"What if we fought for it?" A hopeful tone from the Pippins as he glances around the Zapper's hands. The Zapper does not budge.

"No fighting. Tenna's orders."

"Oh come on! Nobody'll notice me, I can sneak around real quiet-like!" Pathetic puppy eyes from the Pippins. Zapper puts his entire hand over the sad face, pausing the guilt attempt. "Wow. I can't believe you'd be this heartless to me." Came the muffled reply.

"I have a job to do. Get out of here." His hand releases the Pippins' face.

The Pippins takes a few steps away, grumbling under his breath. Damn it. He was never getting in that backstage.

...

...Unless...

The Zapper had relaxed back into a neutral guarding stance when the Pippins slammed square into his stomach. "Wha-HAHA-!?"

A shriek ripped out of his throat as the Pippins started hitting buttons at random, the tickly sensation just a bit too much for the unguarded Zapper. Damn it, why this-!?

"Tenna said no fighting, but this isn't a fight! It's pretty one-sided, anyway." The Pippins jabs at his buttons, clawing at the volume arrows.

"S-Stop, hey, no! Thahahat's cheating!" He yelped as he felt claws digging into his sides, before they jumped around to jab into any exposed weakpoints.

His eyes shut tight from laughter. The Zapper's arms flailed out to push the Pippins away-

-and met empty air.

He blinks in confusion, before noticing the guarded door ajar. That little crook slid right past him! He was gonna get an earful if anyone caught him in there!

Heehee, it was so easy. Just snuck right past the guard with a few well-placed jabs! The Pippins was a little too smug about taking down the Zapper guard so easily.

And he continued to sneak around the backstage. It was mostly just for bragging rights at this point, just to be able to boast about seeing the new set early... and also just because he was nosy. It was all just for fun! All just for-

"Mmph-!?" The Pippins gets grabbed from behind, a familiar set of arms trapping him as they carry him off.

"I told you, authorized staff only. You're sneaky, you know?" The Zapper carries him off, bouncing out the doors and back to the previous corridor. "Hope you had fun, because you're not going back in."

"Says you. I got in once, I can go again-"

Both of his wrists were suddenly gathered in one of the Zapper's hands, the Pippins left dangling uselessly in front of him. "You sure you want to play this game with me?"

"G...Good point, a-actually..." The Pippins is uncharacteristically quiet as the Zapper's hand forms a claw in front of him. "Y-Yeah, you can go ahead and let me down now..."

The Zapper raises an eyebrow, unmoving.

"Nah."

The Pippins lets out a squeal of surprise as that same hand began to skitter and squeeze at his stomach, occasionally pinching at the edges. "Waitwaitwait nohohoho-!"

"Oh, now you don't want to sneak around? You want to behave now?" He gave a small blush at the Pippins' rapid giggling. Kind of cute...

"Ihihihi'm sohohorry, lehehehet go-!" The Pippins shrieks as the Zapper starts pinching at his hip, "NOHOHOT THERE, NOHOHO-!"

"I better not see you trying to sneak around again, got it?" The Zapper squeezes his hip over the bone, producing a silent laugh from him.

"I WOHOHON'T, I SWEAHAHAR-"

After a few more seconds, the Pippins is put down, a small pat on the head given. "Well, at least I know how to keep you out of trouble now."
