Title: Lilithâs Weakness
It was a peaceful afternoon at the Owl Houseâwell, as peaceful as things ever got. Luz, Amity, Gus, and Willow were sprawled out on the floor, playing a competitive round of Hexes Hold âEm, while King paced around, acting like an overexcited commentator.
Meanwhile, Lilith sat gracefully in an armchair, sipping her tea and trying to pretend she wasnât surrounded by absolute chaos.
âI raise you two snails and a teleportation glyph,â Luz declared dramatically.
Amity smirked. âBold, but I counter with an illusion spell.â
Gus leaned in. âOhh, things are heating up.â
Eda sauntered into the room, tossing an apple in the air. She glanced at her sister and suddenly smirked. âHey, kids, wanna see something funny?â
Luz perked up. âUh, obviously, yes.â
Eda cracked her knuckles. âWatch and learn.â
Before Lilith could react, Eda reached over and gave her a quick poke to the ribs.
Lilith jolted so hard she nearly spilled her tea. âEda!â she snapped, shooting her sister a glare.
But it was too lateâthe kids had noticed.
âWait a secondâŚâ Luzâs eyes widened.
âSheâs ticklish!â Gus gasped, grinning.
Lilithâs face went pale. âNo, absolutely not. That was merely an⌠involuntary reaction.â
Willow smirked. âOh, thatâs exactly what a ticklish person would say.â
Luz slowly wiggled her fingers. âSoooo, Lilith⌠if youâre not ticklish, you wouldnât mind if we just⌠tested that theory?â
Lilith shot up. âAbsolutely notââ
But before she could escape, the kids pounced. Amity grabbed one arm, Luz grabbed the other, while Gus and Willow darted straight for her sides. King cheered them on from the sidelines.
âNOâWAIT!â Lilith shrieked as the tickling began. Within seconds, she was in absolute hysterics, thrashing and laughing uncontrollably.
âOhhhh, wow,â Luz teased, scribbling her fingers under Lilithâs arms. âYou are so ticklish, Lilith!â
âPffftâHAHAHAâCEASE THIS AT ONCE!â Lilith howled, trying to kick her legs.
ââCease this at onceâ?â Gus repeated, laughing. âWow, even when sheâs being tickled to death, she still sounds like a fancy old lady.â
Willow grinned. âAw, whatâs wrong, Lilith? Canât handle a few little tickles?â
âYeah, I thought you were supposed to be all serious and intimidating!â Luz teased, squeezing her sides again.
âIâI AM!â Lilith tried to argue, but the giggles ruined any chance of sounding threatening.
Amity smirked, lightly skittering her fingers over Lilithâs ribs. âDoesnât sound like it.â
Lilithâs face was turning red, her laughter now silent as she gasped for breath. âE-Eda! HELP ME!â
Eda leaned against the wall, casually munching on her apple. âNah, I think Iâll let this one play out.â
After another solid minute of relentless tickling, the kids finally let up, collapsing into laughter themselves as Lilith slumped back into her chair, a mess of giggles and exhaustion.
Gus wiped a tear from his eye. âThat was the best thing Iâve ever seen.â
Amity nodded. âAgreed. We should do this way more often.â
Lilith sat up, trying (and failing) to regain her dignity. âYou are all insufferable.â
Luz grinned. âAnd you, Lilith Clawthorne, are extremely ticklish.â
Willow giggled. âGuess we know your real weakness now.â
Lilith crossed her arms, trying to look menacing. âYou will all regret this.â
Eda chuckled. âOh, I highly doubt that.â
And from that day forward, Lilith was never truly safe from the occasional, mischievous tickle attack.
