La leche provenía principalmente de pequeñas granjas y establos ubicados en las afueras de la ciudad, como en Mixcoac, Tacubaya o incluso áreas de Xochimilco y Tlalpan. Los lecheros ordeñaban a mano las vacas y preparaban la leche para su distribución.
Debido a la falta de tecnología de conservación, la leche debía distribuirse lo más pronto posible tras el ordeño. Los habitantes solían comprarla fresca cada mañana para su consumo diario.

Everyone looks so nicely feathered now and im pleased my friend followed my breeding advice on who to pair with who 😏 she didnt want to breed again at first but I was like " uh huh well I happen to have some really nice birds here genetically related to your original house chicken flock so if you just so happened to want to breed them this is who would do best with each other" 😏 then Joy went broody 😆
She also has an interesting trio all unrelated to my line and each other so it will be interesting to see how the chicks look a few generations from now
