A lesson in leather making. 1. Get client to provide image(s) with ruler. 2. Create cardboard or foam block of item using measurements. 3. Outline block for back of pattern, add a bit for thickness of leather. Rotate block to outline other sides. 4. Transfer pattern into stiff paper and tape to leather to cut out. 5. Cut, round corners, punch holes, bevel edges, dye, then seal. 6. Install snaps, see on straps, then install rivets to close. 7.
