tonyaruddick Repost from @ashtangayogadubai We are delighted to welcome back Tonya Ruddick to AYD for the last two weeks in March while Nea is in India. Tonya is currently resident teacher at @mysore_sf so we are super lucky to steal her away for a couple of weeks! Stay tuned for details of the Meditation Course Tonya will teach while visiting. #ashtangayogadubai #ashtangadubai #mysoredubai #mysorestyledubai #yogaphotography #yogagirl #yogainspiration #meditation #learntomeditate #dubaiyoga #yogadubai @tonyaruddick #Repost @mysore_sf with @get_repost ・・・ Can we be fully present with what is? Can we experience reality AS IT IS? Not as we want it to be, but as it is? I’ve had some conversations with students lately about this. One was asking about injury. Basically, she was asking how to get past the injury. The question I posed was can you be with the injury, exactly as it is, and not be desiring for it to be other than it is? BE with it. What is the experience of this injury? What does it feel like? Can you experience it as it is, without attaching to it- attaching stories to it, and also without avoiding it? And the same goes for any experience. Can you be with sadness, or anger, or whatever may come up. What is the experience of sadness? What does it feel like? What is the experience of anger? Can you just experience it, rather than attaching stories to it, or trying to avoid it thru distractions? There is freedom in being able to just be with whatever is in this moment. Not attaching, and not avoiding, and not wanting things to be other than they are. 💛 📷 by @ifilmyoga (at Venice, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuciT83hcEH/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=w383h7ixa16o
