Do you remember the first day of a new job? Today, I get to not just remember it, I get to experience it. All the feels. Excitement, nervous, happiness and wow. All in the same deep breathe in. I just pray no spilled drinks, happy customers!

Contentment. I am content. That’s hard for me to say. I really never have been. Always searching for more. More tasks, more learning, more money, more shoes, more fitness, more approval. The past 3 months have shifted this thinking. I can truly say I am content. This doesn’t mean I am not striving to achieve dreams. The exact opposite. I have never been more on fire. Starting a new career, writing a book, reading and researching, connecting with friends, connecting with just more in general. When something changes so big in your world, so unexpectedly it helps create this sense of reflection I can’t describe. I have always been an optimistic and positive person. To the point where is freaks people out. At one point I was even told to pull back on that part of me to be a better leader. Fuck that. I am who I am. I truly DO see the good in the world. And I see the other side always. If that appears to be “fake” think what you think. It’s not. I am telling you. There you have it. A Sunday thought.
