#learning music

As I wrote in the description, I'm not a musical person. But I want to be!

There are glaring issues with this short piece. It sounds overworked and generic. I used the Gōng scale and worked out the "melody" (hah, as if it could be called that) from there.

Is it objectively good? No. Am I overjoyed with the result? Absolutely! I'm giddy. It sounds nice (to me) even as I cringe at how boring it is.

Anyway, I want to share my progress as I learn more about music and LMMS. I want to see myself improve and learn and fail and everything in between.

Picking up guitar finally! Have wanted to play since I was young but was never given the opportunity to. I am so very excited and even got it in my favorite color! One of them at least.

I never thought I'd see the moment where I can take a selfie and be so genuinely happy. The fact that I made it this far and am able to start learning more about music is something kid me would be amazed by.

They'd be happy.
