#leaking roof

My littlest sister wanted to make an "aquarium" in our upstairs bathroom I was watching top gun Maverick with my brother because my mom left with my youngest brother and my dad is at work.

I felt a drop of water as I was about to eat my egg sandwich. I turn to my brother and said "did you feel that?" He nodded we ran upstairs to see the faucet was running. The bathroom flooded. Best part though my brother ran in and fell backwards like a cartoon XD.

UPDATE ON CURRENT HOUSE SITUATION:

Ok, so I asked my mom if she had home insurance. She said yes, but only the structure of the house. Once she fixes the roof, then she can get the rest of the house insurance. I have no idea why that is, that’s just what she told me. 

Our solution for the leak is that she believes that the pipe leading outside’s seal is very poor, so we gotta reseal it with caulk, but maybe we can get some Flex Seal and use that. But we gotta wait til Monday when it’s warmer out and not raining. For now, we’ll just keep having the towels catch the rain water for now. 

I’ll still be looking for a place, but that’s gonna be quite a while. I’m sure my sisters are willing to help me look at places in their cities to talk with people, so that’ll be helpful.
