I don't know if this is a human confusion or an autistic confusion, but I really struggle with TV and similar where people are playing not quite themselves. It was a really hard thing in teenage years working out that the Top Gear lot were (fairly) scripted and different off screen. As an adult, Taskmaster is sometimes a little disconcerting but mostly alright because Greg is overacting so much. I just watched an interview with the Jetlag team, talking about they were coworkers who've become friendly, rather than friends who now work together.
Things are easier when the actors are acting and we all know they aren't them. It's the acting with your own name that throws me.
(Panel shows are different. Those read more like customer service voice than acting)
(Except for the ones being really stupid on purpose)
(Staged was the weirdest show ever)
