Isumi is stuck with the notion that Le Ping is a kid. Le Ping, unfortunately, has other ideas.
One of my favorite pairings in the Hikaru no Go fandom is Le Ping/Isumi but unfortunately it's quite hard to find any. The progression of their relationship takes years and the struggle that Isumi goes through in adjusting to Le Ping's growth and interest is very convincing. I recommend that you read this even if you only have a passing familiarity with Hikaru no Go.
