Ms. Lauren Hill, opening her performance with “Lost Ones” last night. She and her band put on such a phenomenal performance; even with a head cold, she was so lovely and gracious throughout the entire show. There was nothing but love and positivity the entire night. . . . . . . I was a bit peeved about some of the posts and comments I read on social media leading up to her performance, talking about how some folks didn’t even bother buying tickets to support someone who’s “just gonna cancel anyway,” or “she’s this” or “she’s that.” Granted, she may have a reputation with a little bit of tarnish on it, but her soul still shines beautifully and her position as a top musician after all these years is well deserved.
