โThe last two days I felt different in a good way so I tied my hair up for the first time in like a year. Iโve been taking better care of myself and have made some big changes to my life in recent months. I try to do this thing where when I feel like Iโm entering the next phase of my life I change something visually about myself or my surroundings, visual cues are easier to remember than anything else and we tie emotions to colours and shapes as time goes on. I used to have this lamp that reminded me of an ex friend and i hated it. When the season changes I move my room around and redecorate in different colours so that when I look back I always know what happened and when. It helps separate memory from emotion, itโs a fresh starts. itโs like when you put on a shirt and then you remember a horrible thing that happened to you, โthis is the shirt I wore that night I passed out in the bathroom at laundry in and then got harassed by a cab driver inโ. Itโs making a new memory but it also lets you remember how things were at a particular time in your life. Anyway, I wore my hair up today.โ

when I was 12 i had too many guinea pigs because they made zillions of lil babies so i put them into a canoe and i paddled out to this little island in the middle of a lake and i dug them a hidey hole for them to live in and put them all in there and one of them was real
