Rap crew from Pomona, California, founded in 1989 by Cold 187um, Laylaw, KMG the Illustrator, Go Mack, and DJ Total K-Oss, and signed to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records. The group made their breakthrough with the single ‘Murder Rap’, and were considered as the real founders of the G-Funk. ‘Freedom Of Speech’ belongs to their first album, ‘Livin’ Like Hustlers’ - which was selected as one of The Source’s 100 Best Rap Albums - and appeared in the 1990 movie ‘Pump Up The Volume’
