After doing some sketches in my book i enjoyed layering different media’s and creating peek holes.I would like to finish this piece in the future but for now i think i’m going to leave it as I think i should expand my use of materials.I’m interested in trying using clay or plaster to make a form of some kind. I used a photo of a mannequin that I took as my inspiration.Mannequins are used as models in stores for being an ideal body shape we rarely see any diversity.They also reminded me of plastic surgery and how after getting all this plastic surgery is it just a shell of plastic?Do we forget about the inside?. I decided to do a twisted torso as another thing that beauty trends influence is how skinny you should be and how impossible it is to get that for some people so it’s unrealistic that we can actually twist ourselves into the shape the rend wants us to be.
