Yarn crawling in LA today and got this. Colorway is “Villain.” Remind you of anyone?

I am going to need some help photographing my #whatthefadeshawl (pattern by @dreareneeknits) after I finally block it. It’s just hard to manage with two cats in the house 😹 and also I can’t back away enough to show the whole shawl in the frame, lol. I did a little video (which I didn’t manage to turn the right way, oh well!) I got a lot of compliments on it during #layarncrawl #layarncrawl2018, finished it at the stroke of midnight on Thursday! (Which is why I haven’t blocked it yet, I just wanted to wear it immediately.) This is both my first brioche project AND my first shawl project, as well as the only thing I have completed so far this year. And for anyone wondering, here are the yarns which I bought last year at @altered_stitch (start at the bottom garter stitch) A - @macheteshoppe Betty Paige 💜 in Single Twist (SW merino) B - @macheteshoppe Rhubarb ❤️ in Simple Sock (SW merino/nylon), C - @spectrumfibre 🌈Party in a Nebula SW merino sock yarn, D - @macheteshoppe Grassroots 💚 also in Simple Sock, E - @thegreatskein Photosynthesis 🌱 in Pure Merino Sock, and F - @dyedinthewoolyarnco Don’t Pee in the Pool 🏊🏽‍♂️😹 in Twisted Sock. Phew! I’ll update Ravelry today because TBH I can never remember all the yarns, it just breaks my 🧠 to try to tell anyone what’s what.
