fair, but I do appreciate how it is sympathetic to the stand-in oppressed group, frames their oppression as an injustice that needs to be stopped, + how treating them like a commodity is what nearly causes the planet to explode. It's not as good as little witch academia but I do think its one of the better trigger productions.
I gotta level with you on this, from a technical standpoint this is absolutely Trigger at its best, but from a narrative standpoint.............bro accidental or not they invoked enough holocaust imagery that I, and apparently many other Jewish people, felt the need to leave and stop watching, if only temporarily, not to mention that a lot of the good they do in making sure you know who the bad guy is way undercut by [spoilers]. You can get across ‘its bad that they’re oppressed’ without invoking big cultural traumas, and all it would take is like.........half an ounce of forethought especially when they throw in the bits about ‘their oppression is bad but they’re oppressed for a good reason still’
