The Illusion Head having a tail is actually nothing new (eagle-eyed viewers have known since Eda’s Requiem), but now that there’s more attention to this dude, I’m hoping he turns out actually be some larger demon in a smaller disguise; Maybe even a basilisk???
Also, I’m starting to wonder if the Coven Day Parade will take place at multiple locations across the isles at once, with different Coven Heads sponsoring different events! The Illusion Head is clearly in Latissa, but that background doesn’t quite seem to match what we see going on with Luz, Eda, Kikimora, Raine, and the Plant Head!
So it might be a coordinated, simultaneous type of broadcast; Makes sense, you’ve got a lot of isles to cover! And doing this all at once shows the unity and coordination of the covens, yadda-yadda. But from a doylist perspective, it means Eda doesn’t have to fight all of the Coven Heads for Raine, which is infinitely more manageable; As-is the introduction of just one at the moment! Likewise, it makes sense for Raine to be at the Bonesborough event, given their actions there as the BATT leader; Them supporting Belos there is a lot more topical than anywhere else. I also wonder if they’ll be made to reveal their BATT affiliation and renounce it, but probably not; I could definitely see Raine being used to talk down on the BATTs without admitting their involvement tho, for irony and whatnot.
