After an argument with your long time boyfriend, you storm out the house, wanting a peaceful night drive, despite it pouring outside.
โAre you stupid, Y/N? Itโs literally pouring outside.โ You hear Taehyung shouting from behind you. You pay him no attention. As you continue walking towards your garage, you hear keys jiggling, and the front door locking.
โWhat are you doing, Taehyung? Leave me alone.โ You say.
โLet me come with you. I canโt let you go in this terrible weather alone.โ He responds.
You sigh, reluctantly agreeing. As you two step into the car, keys in the ignition, silence fills the atmosphere.
You play your favourite song, volume low so itโs soft in the background.

Halfway through the drive, your boyfriend breaks the silence. โY/N. I think itโs time we talk this out.โ
โTalk about what? How youโre basically cheating on me?โ You aggressively respond.
โIโm. Not. Cheating.โ
You scoff, turning towards him. โYeah? Then why was that girl all up on you at that cafรฉ? And why didnโt you stop her?โ
He runs his fingers through his hair, slightly turning up the volume.
โYou wanted to talk, why so quiet now?โ You ask. He continues driving until finally responding.
โI swear to God, I donโt know that woman. I tried multiple times to tell her let me go, without getting physical. You know how much I hate confrontation.โ He tells you. Then he parks the car on the side of the road, and faces towards you. โLook at me, baby.โ
He grabs your chin towards him, looking at you with vulnerable, innocent eyes. โForgive me, my love. I shouldโve handled this situation better instead of fighting with you.โ He softly says.
Youโre quiet, the sound of the rain, music and his heavy breathing being the only sounds you could hear. You pull him in for a hug.
โI love you, baby.โ He tells you.
โI love you too..โ
