After an argument with your long time boyfriend, you storm out the house, wanting a peaceful night drive, despite it pouring outside.
βAre you stupid, Y/N? Itβs literally pouring outside.β You hear Taehyung shouting from behind you. You pay him no attention. As you continue walking towards your garage, you hear keys jiggling, and the front door locking.
βWhat are you doing, Taehyung? Leave me alone.β You say.
βLet me come with you. I canβt let you go in this terrible weather alone.β He responds.
You sigh, reluctantly agreeing. As you two step into the car, keys in the ignition, silence fills the atmosphere.
You play your favourite song, volume low so itβs soft in the background.

Halfway through the drive, your boyfriend breaks the silence. βY/N. I think itβs time we talk this out.β
βTalk about what? How youβre basically cheating on me?β You aggressively respond.
βIβm. Not. Cheating.β
You scoff, turning towards him. βYeah? Then why was that girl all up on you at that cafΓ©? And why didnβt you stop her?β
He runs his fingers through his hair, slightly turning up the volume.
βYou wanted to talk, why so quiet now?β You ask. He continues driving until finally responding.
βI swear to God, I donβt know that woman. I tried multiple times to tell her let me go, without getting physical. You know how much I hate confrontation.β He tells you. Then he parks the car on the side of the road, and faces towards you. βLook at me, baby.β
He grabs your chin towards him, looking at you with vulnerable, innocent eyes. βForgive me, my love. I shouldβve handled this situation better instead of fighting with you.β He softly says.
Youβre quiet, the sound of the rain, music and his heavy breathing being the only sounds you could hear. You pull him in for a hug.
βI love you, baby.β He tells you.
