Despite these valleys in your life, don't give up on hope. This hope is the purposefulness of your tribulations that God has planned to produce the most beautiful story about you. I'm about to implement this #lovely crystal moon prism mic for a collage so I need to upload what it looks like before I send it off! Months ago, I couldn't make it to an @aaww_nyc reading with @lastnightsreading & @lrsphm so I had a friend buy me a copy of gavino's pictured #book (so cool and I love her drawings and curation!) and any merch Larissa made plus this kickass sticker. I then proceeded to extol how astounding, vulnerable, beautiful, tantalizing, embedding, dreamy, and damn evocative larissa's writing is and put linkage to her tiny letters and essays. Her words are brave, brilliant, provocative, and possess so much detail and imbued with passion. I want to write like her. Her words are striking and reading her gave me permission to be more gritty, more bare naked, more impactful with my own story and words. I cannot wait for Fantasian to come out in October! Anyway my lovely former boss @nadsnaps7 showed Larissa my event share and my fangirling and the latter WROTE ME THAT SWEET AND HEART BURSTING NOTE!!! When I read it My eyes grew into saucer plates, jaw dropped, and I'm still floored that she decided to write ANYTHING to me! 😧 it made me squeal, ecstatic, and anxious cuz I forgot what I wrote and if I embarrassed myself lol. And I Actually did met her in June for Esme wang's event. So surreal meeting your heroes, even better when they're more remarkable and yet down to earth than you pictured (@esmewwang is also an idol of mine to clarify). Follow all these amazing women, they're beloved for a reason and their prose is depthful and striking.
