(Japanese Movie)

The story was okay. The characters are extremely flawed and I have no excuse for their behavior whatsoever. In a way I think it captures the truth in life perfectly—cos humans in essence are extremely flawed. I just hope that you don't go watching this movie hoping for people to look up to cos you ain't gonna find one here.

But I did enjoy this one, if not for the story at least for the drama. And oooh! The scenes and the shots were super pretty, really common with these kinds of genre but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

!SPOILER RANT!

I watched this with my mom and we both hated the main female character, Yuri. You know, I wouldn't have any problem with her if she's not currently in a committed relationship but duuude she's married.

What was her intention in sending all those letters to her first love anyway? In my books, it was clearly cheating. Even if nothing really happened between them, she was still pretty much emotionally invested in this guy.

And to make matters worse she was pretending to be her older sister (who is the actual first love of the guy and the main reason he contacted her first anyway)

And to add to that, her husband knew that they were texting each other and confronted her about it and lemme tell you he wasn't quite happy. Which is understandable? WHO WOULDN'T BE?

Chaotic? Oh yeah. The only saving grace of this one was the kids and their youthful curiosity. Atleast they pretended to be Misaki (the older sister) to find some answers.
