Okay tomorrow I'm going to the Retina specialist for my left eye. I had surgery on it last year but the vision has progressively gotten worse. Worst case scenario, surgery would be non beneficial and I lose sight slowly in that eye. What I'm hoping for is a few rounds of laser treatments to help close those pesky vessels(they're leaking blood ) thenin 6 months or so going for a full vitrectomy. I'm not scared or anything, just annoyed I have to potentially miss work for this. I also hate recovering from the surgery because I get an eyepatch and I hate public attention. Also also, my original surgeon retired this year and I reallllllllllllllly liked and trusted him. The surgery is an awake one and he'd talk to me and explain what was being inserted in my eye and what it did. Hopefully everything goes okay and I get to keep the vision. If not, I want a seeing eye raccoon. ^_^
