Join us at La Sala Rossa for the third concert of Regards sur le 7e feu, a conceptual piece for eleven musicians composed and envisioned by Xarah Dion and Stefan Christoff. This performance will take place in collaboration with the indigenous women's singing ensemble Odaya. The music explores issues revolving around the future of the North, through layers of improvised and written classical and experimental orchestral soundscapes.

Odaya is an indigenous women’s art collective who are committed and creative, drawing strength from the legacy of elders while working to inspire aboriginal youth and create bridges between different peoples. Odaya is rooted in a desire to explore indigenous culture, song and the relationship of the artists to the drum, the rhythm and traditional teachings. Odaya aims to contribute positively to the Aboriginal community, to share the richness and beauty of First Nations through artistic expression while speaking out against injustices.
