Emiru (Lareine) in the LA VIE EN ROSE concert in 2015!

In my opinion (and fittingly for a reunion concert), this outfit is the pinnacle of every single Emiru look that he's ever done. His whole thing was Innocent Femininity, and this look absolutely embodies this. It incorporates the lack of a defined waist that was a feature in a lot of his looks (in my opinion, making him look younger by obscuring the shape of his body), but it also ties into the Main Overarching Theme of all his looks, which is flowers! This look is totally flowertastic in every way, shape, and form, from the shape of the skirt to the pattern on his little capelet to the flowers all over his hair to even the shape of his headpiece (somehow, it reminds me of a cala lily), and I love how they very obviously decided to incorporate flowers as a concept into every single ounce of this look.

Emiru's other overarching concept for his looks was, of course, pink, and this look is very pink, though I do like the combination of accents that gell (with the white) and the black capelet which provides some contrast and keeps the outfit from being too one-note, color-wise.

Finally, I have to talk about his makeup and styling. So, if you've seen enough pictures of Emiru, you'll eventually notice that he has a pretty masculine face. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's kind of uncommon for onnagata and goes a bit against his concept. So, the way they chose to deal with that is by A: accenting his eyes as much as possible, to draw attention away from the rest of his face, B: hyper-lightening his skin in post, to make his facial features stand out less, and C: giving him thick bangs and face-framing side pieces to make his face look smaller.
