With the muzzle I think the galra or other aliens who capture him would stick him with the muzzle cause he talks a lot. I get that Keith would challenge them and what not but Lance would talk to annoy them/as a coping mechanism. So shutting him up would take both of those away. (BTW if this interests you, read 'Whatever it takes' by Saerus2665

Selectively mute could work because of kind of the same thing but with the Garrison teachers (or toxic team if that's your thing) getting after him for being so loud/talkative or him getting embarrassed about his accent or something.

Now with the touch starvation it could be like a part of him is missing. People who were around more touch before losing it sometimes are more affected. With Lance being super affectionate with a large family and then his friends before suddenly getting blasted into space it would gut him. My favorite two ways are either the team sort of neglecting him or when the galra capture him and he's alone for way too long.

All this to say, people do not use these tags enough.
