That one books of sorrow art but silk song.
Lancet fanart by me!
a fan breed of mine—the australian lancet!
these fellas teeter between heavy lightweight, or light middleweight dragons. they are covered in wide, flat spikes that flare up when growing defensive. they rattle, too, and sound like a much louder rattlesnake!
they’re equipped with a thagomizer on the tip of their tails! it’s typically kept open, but can be drawn closed when resting. the position of their horns provides ample opportunity to charge and ram other dragons, or each other, which is done frequently for entertainment. they have overlong claws, and use them to dig out burrows.
lancets were bred solely for the purpose of bunyip extermination, coming to be around the mid-late 1800s. they accompany most groups of dragons, and will form a sort of wall with their backs positioned outwards! even if not being sent along with other dragons, lancets are sent out on expeditions to keep the bunyip population down!
they’re pretty aggressive dragons overall, but are friendly with those they deem as family. they’re very bullheaded and tend to do things their way, whether it’ll result in success or not.
their colors are pretty bright, with most having a lighter underbelly and a darker set of spikes. occasionally, a lancet’s spikes will grow in very shiny.

All the robots have basically the same flavor text of "[pronoun] knows that [pronoun]'s a robot."
