Enjoy these flavorful lamb patties with Middle Eastern-inspired flavors served in warm pitta bread with creamy hummus, fresh vegetables, and a touch of mint. A delicious and satisfying meal that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 500g ground lamb. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ground cumin. 1 tsp ground coriander. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 pitta breads. 200g hummus. 1 tomato, sliced. 1 cucumber, sliced. Fresh mint leaves. Olive oil for cooking.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and brush it with olive oil. Cook the lamb patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness. While the lamb patties are cooking, warm the pitta bread in the oven or on a dry skillet. To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of hummus on each pitta bread. Place a lamb patty on top of the hummus, followed by slices of tomato and cucumber. Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Fold the pitta bread in half to create a sandwich. Serve the Lamb Patties With Hummus and Pitta immediately.
