04: Have you ever thrown a book across the room?I have no memory of doing so.
12: Who is your favorite author?If you pointed a gun at me and told me to pick just one single favourite author, I’d say Steven Erikson, the author of Malazan Book of the Fallen.
27: Which is your favorite genre to write?Fantasy. It’s not quite my only genre, but almost. And if we go into the subgenres of fantasy, I’d say... epic fantasy with more politics than magic and kind of non-standard dragons (if dragons appear).
36: Do you listen to music when you write?Yes! I listen to music almost all the time, and this applies also while writing. I have several writing playlists, mainly for some of my fics, but what I’m writing isn’t necessarily tied to what I’m listening to.

5. Did you take writing courses in school/college? Yes, I did! Aside from the obligatory freshman writing class (which was infuriating on so many levels), I took a class on rhetoric in my senior year. It was one of those great classes where the professor just expects a lot from you, but you absolutely know it’s worth it when you get a good grade from him because it actually means something.
28. Which do you find hardest: the beginning, the middle, or the end? I have difficulty especially with beginnings and endings, but I tend to have the hardest time writing endings. I get too in my head trying not to be too trite. Beginnings, every once in a while, just come to me, and the middle is fantastic since I’m done setting the scene by then.
45. What’s your favorite character name? One of my characters was named Adrina Rose, and I just really love how that sounds.

Hey, I was just reading your WoT Family thing, and it's a cool idea, but I was just wondering what this bit meant: 'but there’s a clash with the Mat ask blog not being run by the actual Mat Cauthon,' Like, who's the actual Mat Cauthon? I'm kind of confused by that.
Oh, sorry, yeah I could have been clearer there. The "actual Mat Cauthon" is the person formerly known as dragonsfang; matrim-notabloodylord-cauthon. Because most of the fandom seems to agree that he's actually Mat. ^^;
