The group was all sitting in a clearing where they would stay for the night. It was quiet and there was a nice storm blowing in, just a small thunderstorm nothing too severe. Everyone would be fine, or so Sky thought.
It was sprinkling, then drizzling, soon everyone went into their tents so they didn't get too wet. Then the thunder, well first it was lightning. It was just enough to light up the tent, the thunder was loud but nothing out of the blue. Sky laid on his mat on the floor, looking at the roof of the tent. Lightning occasionally flickering, his companion, thunder, coming shortly after. He wondered how anyone could hate this. He looked over to check on his two tent mates, Awakening and Wind, to make sure they were alright. Wind was fast asleep, storms like this were probably white noise to the experienced sailor. Awakening, however, had the blanket pulled over their head, flinching everytime thunder rang out.
“Dreamer? Are you ok?” Sky called out to his companion. Awakening moved the blanket to look at Sky. The hero was shivering, tears streaming down his face, they looked terrified. Sky immediately got up and went over to his friend.
“Hey, hey, hey it's ok. Come here.” The knight scoops Awakening into a hug, letting him rest their head on his shoulder.
Awakening clung onto Sky so tightly it made the skyloftian’s heart hurt. He wasn't sure what to do to comfort them, Sky hadn't seen the dreamer in such a vulnerable state. One thing he did know was they clearly needed to be comforted, so that’s what Sky did. The longer Sky sat with Awakening the quieter his sobbing got. It wasn’t long before the two fell asleep (especially not for the knight, who found sleep easier than most).
The next morning the Sailor woke up and found Sky sleeping with Awakening laying on his chest. Obviously he took a pictograph. Why wouldn't he.
