People take part in the Day of the Dead celebrations in Taxco de AlarcĂłn, Guerrero, Mexico. Day of the Dead (DĂa de Muertos), a religious holiday combining the death veneration rituals of Pre-Hispanic cultures with the Catholic practice, is widely celebrated throughout all of Mexico. El 2 de noviembre en MĂ©xico celebramos DĂa de Muertos, festividad declarada como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad en el 2008 đ§ĄđđŒ. Como es ya una costumbre para mĂ, dibujĂ© a Catrina Mikistli, mi OC y versiĂłn de la Muerte đ€.
Este año estuve a punto de no hacer algo alusivo a la fecha porque no tenĂa ĂĄnimos, Miji cumple hoy un mes de haber cruzado el arco iris y estos dĂas han sido bastante difĂciles de llevar. Al final me llegĂł la inspiraciĂłn, pero sĂłlo me alcanzĂł para hacer algo sencillo y sin muchos sĂmbolos relacionados a la fecha. Las cosas a señalar son que cambiĂ© el maquillaje y el peinado de Catrina, asĂ como el sombrero, ya que desde hace algunos años ha dejado de gustarme la manera en cĂłmo los dibujaba. He decidido que voy a dejarle este nuevo diseño a mi Catrina, su peinado asĂ me gusta mĂĄs đ
